If you're starting from George Town, head towards Jalan Penang. Walk along this road until you reach the junction with Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Turn left onto Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and continue straight. You will pass by several historic buildings. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Lebuh Light. Turn right onto Lebuh Light, and continue walking until you see Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park on your left. The Old Canal Lock & Canal Basin remains are located within the park.

Public Transport (Bus)
From George Town, take the Rapid Penang bus number 101, 102, or 103. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop to your location (you can check for the bus stop closest to you). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Komtar. Once you get off at Komtar, walk towards Jalan Penang. Continue on Jalan Penang until you reach the junction with Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Turn left and walk straight until you see Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park on your left. The Old Canal Lock & Canal Basin remains are within the park.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from George Town. Head towards Jalan Penang and cycle straight to the junction with Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Turn left onto Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and continue cycling. You'll pass by several historical sites. Continue until you reach Lebuh Light, then turn right. Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park will be on your left. Park your bicycle at the designated area, and explore the Old Canal Lock & Canal Basin remains within the park.
