If you are starting from the iconic Penang Peranakan Mansion, head north onto Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong. Turn left onto Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong and continue walking for approximately 250 meters. You will see Komtar Tower on your right side.

From the popular street art area on Armenian Street, walk south towards Lebuh Pantai. Turn right onto Lebuh Pantai and continue walking until you reach the junction with Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong. Turn left onto Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong and walk for about 400 meters. Komtar Tower will be on your left.
