Car
From Kinabalu National Park, take the main road northeast towards Kota Kinabalu. Follow the signs to Kota Kinabalu and continue for approximately 2 hours (around 90 km). Once you reach Kota Kinabalu, look for signs to 'Likas' and proceed towards Jalan Bukit Bendera. The Kota Kinabalu Wetland Ramsar Site is located off Jalan Bukit Bendera in Upper Likas. There is no entrance fee for the wetland, but ensure you have a car parking space available.
Public Transportation
From Kinabalu National Park, take a taxi or shuttle to the nearest bus station in Kota Kinabalu. From the bus station, board a bus heading to Likas. Once you arrive in Likas, you may need to take a short taxi ride to Jalan Bukit Bendera. The total cost for the bus should be around RM 5-10, and the taxi from Likas to the wetland should be approximately RM 15-20.
Walking
If you choose to walk from the nearest bus stop in Likas, head towards Jalan Bukit Bendera. The wetland is around a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs as you walk, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
