If you are in Likas, you can walk to I Love KK, which is about 3 km away. Start by heading south on Jalan Likas, then turn left onto Jalan Klias. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Jalan Klias, which will eventually become Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens. Follow this road for about 1.5 km until you see the I Love KK sign on your right. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

You can take a local bus from Likas to Pusat Bandar Kota Kinabalu (Kota Kinabalu City Centre). Look for the bus stop near the Likas Square, and board any bus heading towards the city center. The fare is typically around RM2. Once you arrive at the city center, disembark at the bus stop near the Waterfront. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to I Love KK. Head east on Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, and you will see the attraction on your left.
