If you're in Likas, simply head south toward Jalan Tanjung Lipat. The beach is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the main Likas area. Walk straight along Jalan Likas toward the coast, then turn left when you reach the junction with Jalan Tanjung Lipat. Continue walking straight until you reach Teluk Likas Beach.

From Likas, you can take a public bus heading towards the city center. Look for buses labeled 'Kota Kinabalu' and board one from the nearest bus stop. The fare is usually around RM 2.50 to RM 3.00. Inform the driver that you want to go to Teluk Likas Beach. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the bus stop near Jalan Tanjung Lipat and walk approximately 5-10 minutes to the beach.
