Walking
If you are in the city center, start at the Kuching Waterfront. Head towards the Main Bazaar and follow the path along the river until you reach the Riverside Majestic Hotel. From there, look for the pedestrian bridge that leads across the Sarawak River. Once you cross the bridge, you will find yourself in the area of Petra Jaya. Continue walking straight until you reach a main road. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Jalan Main Bazaar. After a short walk, you will see signs pointing to Fort Margherita. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at The Brooke Gallery located within the fort.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus that goes to Petra Jaya. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near Fort Margherita. Once you get off, follow the road signs leading to the fort. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the gallery. Alternatively, you can take a boat from the waterfront to Petra Jaya, which is a scenic route across the river. Upon arrival, just follow the road signs to reach The Brooke Gallery.
