Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Malacca City Center, head towards Jonker Street. Walk along Jalan Hang Jebat until you reach the intersection with Jalan Laksamana. Turn left onto Jalan Laksamana and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh. Turn right onto Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh. Keep walking straight for about 500 meters until you see Sultan's Well, which is located near a temple and a beautifully maintained garden.

  • Public Bus

    From the Malacca bus terminal, take the public bus (Bus No. 17 or 18) heading towards Kampung Bukit China. Get off at the Kampung Bukit China stop. From there, walk straight along Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh for about 300 meters. You will find Sultan's Well on your left, adjacent to a temple and a lovely garden.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in the city center and ride towards Jonker Street. Follow the same route as the walking directions by cycling down Jalan Hang Jebat, turning left onto Jalan Laksamana, and then right onto Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh.
