If you are starting at Jonker Street, head south towards Jalan Hang Jebat. Turn left onto Jalan Hang Jebat and walk until you reach Jalan Parameswara. Turn right onto Jalan Parameswara, and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the Proclamation of Independence Memorial on your left, easily identifiable by its distinct architecture.
