From Taman Negara National Park, head to the Kuala Tembeling Jetty where you will find parking facilities. From there, take a boat ride on the Tembeling River to reach the nearest town, Jerantut. The boat ride typically takes about 3 hours and costs around MYR 35-50 per person. Once you arrive in Jerantut, drive or take a bus to Kuala Lumpur via Route 2. The distance is approximately 150 km, and the drive takes about 2-3 hours. Follow signs to the city center and then to Jalan Damansara where the museum is located.

To get to The National Museum of Malaysia from Taman Negara National Park, first make your way to the Kuala Tembeling Jetty and take a boat to Jerantut. After arriving in Jerantut, you can catch a bus to Kuala Lumpur. Buses to Kuala Lumpur are frequent and typically cost around MYR 30-50. Once you arrive at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Kuala Lumpur, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app to reach The National Museum, located at Jabatan Muzium Malaysia, Jalan Damansara, Perdana Botanical Gardens. The taxi ride should take about 15-30 minutes depending on traffic.
