If you are driving from Kota Kinabalu city center, head towards Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens which will lead you to the coastal road. Continue along this road until you reach the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, look for the ticket booths to purchase your ticket to Sapi Island. Ferries typically operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. After purchasing your ticket, board the ferry which will take you directly to Sapi Island. The ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes.

To get to Sapi Island using public transportation, start at any location in Kota Kinabalu and make your way to the city's main bus terminal. From the terminal, take a local bus heading towards the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. The bus fare is usually inexpensive, and the journey may take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Jesselton Point, purchase a ferry ticket at one of the booths for Sapi Island. Ferries run regularly from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the trip to the island takes about 15-20 minutes.
