Speedboat
The only way to reach Bandos Maldives from Velana International Airport (MLE) is via speedboat. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a resort representative who will escort you to the speedboat. The speedboat transfer takes approximately 15 minutes. The standard round-trip speedboat transfer cost is typically $108 per adult and $54 per child (ages 2–11), infants under 2 years old travel for free. These rates include taxes. The speedboat transfer can be booked directly through the resort or as part of a package deal with online travel sites. Please note that third-party transfers are not allowed. Some promotions offer discounted or free transfers during certain periods.

Taxi
While taxis are available from Velana International Airport, they are only useful for traveling to Malé city or Hulhumalé. Since Bandos is an island resort, a taxi cannot take you directly there. If you wish to visit Malé before heading to Bandos, a taxi ride to the city will cost around $7 and take approximately 15 minutes. From Malé, you would still need to arrange a speedboat transfer to Bandos through the resort.
