Getting There

    From Malé International Airport (MLE), the primary gateway to the Maldives, take either a seaplane or speedboat to Kuramathi Island. Seaplane transfers take approximately 20 minutes and offer stunning aerial views. Speedboat transfers take around 90 minutes. It is highly recommended to arrange transfers directly with Kuramathi Island Resort prior to arrival. Seaplane transfers cost approximately USD 380 per adult for a round trip. Speedboat transfers cost approximately USD 167 per adult for a round trip.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive at Kuramathi Island, the sandbank is located on the western tip of the island. You can walk along the beach or take the complimentary buggy service to the west end. The walk from the eastern side of the island to the sandbank takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Buggy service is available from early morning until approximately 1 am.
