Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Birgu, near the Vittoriosa Waterfront. Head towards the main square, known as 'Pjazza San Lawrenz'. From the square, walk towards the main road (Triq Sant' Anna) and continue straight. You will cross a bridge that leads to Valletta. Once you arrive in Valletta, follow the signs towards 'Republic Street'. After a short walk, you will find the National Museum of Archaeology on your left side at Republic St.

From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 'Vittoriosa'. Board the bus heading towards Valletta (routes 81, 82, or 85). The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and head towards 'Republic Street'. The National Museum of Archaeology will be located on your right after a short walk along Republic Street.
