Walking
From the central area of Gzira, head towards the waterfront along Triq ix-Xatt. Enjoy the views of the harbor as you walk. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the Tigne Point shopping complex. From here, you can take a ferry from the Tigne Point ferry terminal to Valletta, which is a short ride across the harbor.

Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, disembark and walk straight ahead into the heart of Valletta. Follow the main street, Republic Street, until you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens. The Statue of Jean de Valette is located just outside the gardens, near the entrance.

Public Transport
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Gzira to Valletta. Find the nearest bus stop along the main road (Triq Gzira) and catch any bus heading towards Valletta. The bus journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Valletta, follow the same directions as above, walking straight to Republic Street and then to the Upper Barracca Gardens.

If you are near the Gzira seafront, you can also take a leisurely walk along the promenade towards Valletta. This route is slightly longer but offers beautiful views. Once you reach Valletta, head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, where the Statue of Jean de Valette is located.
