Getting There

• Bus

  From Bugibba, head to the nearest bus stop located at Bugibba Square. Look for the bus route towards Għarb; the bus number you need is 101. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride as it takes you across the beautiful Maltese countryside. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Għarb, disembark at the bus stop named 'Għarb - Ta' Pinu.' From the bus stop, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu is just a short walk. Head straight down Ta' Pinu Road for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Basilic's entrance on your left.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking, you can take a pleasant stroll from Bugibba to Għarb, which takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Start at Bugibba Square and head towards the coast, following the promenade towards Qawra. Continue along the coastline towards St. Paul's Bay, then take the road leading to Għarb. Make sure to keep an eye out for directional signs. Once you arrive in Għarb, head to Ta' Pinu Road, and the Basilica will be a short walk from there.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable and faster option, you can take a taxi from Bugibba to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu. You can hail a taxi from Bugibba Square or use a taxi app to request one. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Simply provide the driver with the address: Shrine, Ta' Pinu, Road, Għarb.
