From the main bus station in Victoria, the Citadella is approximately a 10-minute uphill walk. Head east from the bus station towards Republic Street, then turn right onto Castle Hill Street. Follow the street uphill to the Citadella entrance. No costs are involved for this final approach.

Take any bus to Victoria Bus Terminus. From Mġarr Harbour, bus 301 will take you directly to Victoria's main bus station. From the bus terminus, follow the walking directions to the Citadella. A single bus fare costs approximately €2.

Drive towards Victoria, following signs for the Citadella. Park in the free public parking area near the main bus station, a 10-minute walk to the Citadel. Alternatively, paid parking is available closer to the entrance for €2.
