Bus
From Marsaskala, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Kbira. Take the bus number 81 or 83 heading towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Alight at the Valletta City Gate stop. From there, walk through the main entrance of Valletta and continue straight along Republic Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the National Museum of Archaeology.

Walk
If you prefer to walk, you can start from the Marsaskala promenade. Head towards the main road (Triq il-Kbira) and follow it north. Continue walking straight for about 4 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Valletta. Once inside Valletta, make your way to Republic Street, which is the main street. Walk along Republic Street for about 10 minutes until you see the National Museum of Archaeology on your left.

Taxi
You can also opt for a taxi from Marsaskala to Valletta. Simply ask a local for the nearest taxi stand or use a ride-hailing app. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Republic Street, Valletta, near the National Museum of Archaeology.
