Getting There

Walking
From Mdina, head towards the main gate and exit the city. Once outside, turn left onto the main road (Triq il-Lewza). Continue walking straight for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Rabat. Keep following the road until you reach the signs for Għarb. Once you see the sign for Għarb, continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu, which will be on your right.

Public Transport
From Mdina, walk to the nearest bus stop at the entrance of Rabat (Triq il-Lewza). Take bus number 201 towards Għarb. The bus will take you directly to the bus terminal in Għarb. Once you arrive at the terminal, exit the bus and walk straight down the road (Triq Ta' Pinu) for about 500 meters. The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu will be on your left.
