Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main road in Mellieha Bay. Head north towards Selmun. Once you reach the roundabout at Selmun, take the first exit onto Selmun Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for Għajn Ħadid Beach. Follow the signs and look for parking options available near the beach. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take bus route 41 or 42 from Mellieha Bay towards Valletta. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Selmun. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Għajn Ħadid Beach. Head up Selmun Road, following the signs to the beach. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the path can be uneven.

• Walking

  If you find yourself already at the Mellieha Bay beach area, you can walk to Għajn Ħadid Beach. From the main beach, head towards the northern end of the bay. Look for a path that leads up to Selmun Road. Follow Selmun Road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the beach. It's a scenic walk, but be prepared for some inclines.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route without the hassle of parking or walking, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Mellieha Bay. Simply hail a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. The drive to Għajn Ħadid Beach should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare will generally range between €10-€15.
