Walking
If you are starting from the popular area of Spinola Bay, head north on Triq Il-Kbira towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq San Piju V, which will lead you to the outskirts of St. Julian's. Follow the road until you see signs for the bus stop for Route 42 towards Victoria. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the 'Victoria' stop, which is near the Citadel. From there, follow the signs leading you to the Citadel area. Once you arrive at the Citadel, you will find St. John's Demi-Bastion nearby.

Walking
If you are at the Hilton Malta, exit the hotel and walk towards the main road (Triq Il-Kbira). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus stop for Route 42. Board the bus towards Victoria and enjoy the journey. Once you arrive at the 'Victoria' stop, exit the bus and follow the signs to the Citadel. St. John's Demi-Bastion is located within the Citadel complex, so you will be able to find it easily.

Public Transport
If you are near the Bay Street Shopping Complex, head towards the bus stop located just outside the complex. Take the bus Route 42 heading to Victoria. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Victoria' stop, exit and walk towards the Citadel. Follow the directional signs to reach St. John's Demi-Bastion, which is located within the Citadel.
