    If you are starting from the popular area of Spinola Bay, head north on Triq Il-Kbira towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq San Piju V, which will lead you to the outskirts of St. Julian's. Follow the road until you see signs for the bus stop for Route 42 towards Victoria. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the 'Victoria' stop, which is near the Citadel. From there, follow the signs leading you to the Citadel area. Once you arrive at the Citadel, you will find St. John's Demi-Bastion nearby.

    If you are at the Hilton Malta, exit the hotel and walk towards the main road (Triq Il-Kbira). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus stop for Route 42.
