Getting There

Walking
From the center of Xaghra, head towards the main street (Triq il-Kbira) and walk towards the direction of Victoria. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Bormla. Follow this road, and you will notice signs directing you to the Citadel. As you approach Victoria, you will see the Citadel on your left. Once you reach the Citadel area, you can enter the Citadel grounds where the Cultural Heritage Directorate is located.

From Xaghra, you can take a bus to Victoria. Look for the bus stop on Triq il-Kbira. The bus route number 42 will take you directly to Victoria. Once you arrive at the Victoria bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards the Citadel, which is a short 10-minute walk. Head straight along Triq il-Kbira, turn left onto Triq Bormla, and look for signs leading to the Citadel. The Cultural Heritage Directorate is located within the Citadel.
