Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Xewkija Parish Church, which is located at the center of Xewkija. From the church, head northwest on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq San Mikiel. When you reach the end of the street, turn left onto Triq il-Lunzjata. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq San Gorg. Turn right onto Triq San Gorg. Follow this road as it leads you out of Xewkija. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs pointing towards Victoria. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the entrance of Victoria. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Belt and follow the road uphill. You will see the Cathedral of the Assumption to your left as you approach the higher ground. The cathedral is located at 26WQ+CVX, It-Telgħa tal-Belt, Ir-Rabat Għawdex.

    From any location in Xewkija, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is typically located near the Xewkija Parish Church. Board the bus heading towards Victoria (Rabat).
