Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Annapolis, head southwest on West Street towards the intersection with Church Circle. Continue straight along West Street until you reach the intersection with State Circle. Turn left onto State Circle and continue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Keep walking straight, and Main Street will turn into Duke of Gloucester Street. Continue straight and cross the bridge over the Severn River. Once you reach the other side, follow Route 50 towards Washington, DC. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the West Street Metro Station. From there, take the Metro Green Line towards Greenbelt and transfer to the Yellow Line at Gallery Place. Continue on the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and walk towards 1st Street SW. Follow 1st Street SW for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Bartholdi Fountain and Gardens at 245 First St SW.

    From the Maryland State House in Annapolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Street. Board the Annapolis Transit Bus #101 towards the Annapolis Mall. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the last stop at the Annapolis Mall. From there, transfer to the DC Metro Bus (Route 5A) heading towards the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station.
