Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Annapolis, head east on West Street towards the State House. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. Take a left onto Church Circle and continue onto Main Street. Follow Main Street until it intersects with the US Naval Academy. Here, you can enjoy a walk along the waterfront. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Eastport Bridge. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight along the road until you reach the Annapolis City Dock. From the City Dock, head north on the footpath along the water towards the Eastport area. After around 0.6 miles, you will reach the intersection with West Street. Here, you can either take a bus or continue walking north until you reach the intersection with Route 50. Take a right on Route 50 and walk towards the Washington, DC area.

  • Public Transit

    From downtown Annapolis, take the Annapolis Transit bus line 99 towards the Metro station. Board the bus at the nearest stop on West Street. The bus will take you towards the New Carrollton Metro Station where you can transfer to the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Ride the Green Line until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. From L'Enfant Plaza, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Finally, transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Union Station. Once you are at Union Station, you can take a short walk northeast to reach the Supreme Court of the United States.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental stations in Annapolis. Start at the dock area and head towards the Route 50 Bridge. Follow the bike lanes along the road, keeping to the right. After crossing the bridge, continue following the bike path that leads towards the DC area. You will pass several parks and waterfront areas. Keep an eye on signage directing you towards the Capitol Hill area. Once you reach the Capitol area, follow the signs to the Supreme Court located at 1 First St NE.
