Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mount Vernon, head northwest on North Charles Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Turn left onto North Avenue and walk for an additional 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Druid Hill Park on your right at 900 Druid Park Lake Dr.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    Walk to the nearest bus stop at Charles St & North Ave. Take the MTA Bus Route 3 (heading towards 'Patterson Park'). Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Druid Park Lake Dr & Edgewood St stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes northeast to reach Druid Hill Park's entrance at 900 Druid Park Lake Dr. Note: A single bus fare costs $1.80.
