Public Bus
From downtown Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Rockville Metro Station (6 stops). From there, transfer to the Ride On Bus Route 40 towards Manassas and get off at the Sudley Road stop. Walk about 0.5 miles southwest to reach Manassas National Battlefield Park at 6511 Sudley Rd.

Start at the Bethesda Metro Station. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station (9 stops). From there, catch the Metrobus Route 1A towards Manassas. Get off at the Sudley Road stop. The park entrance will be approximately a 0.5-mile walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Bethesda. Head north on Wisconsin Ave, then take a left onto Montrose Rd. Follow Montrose Rd until it merges with Route 28, which you will take east towards Manassas. The ride is approximately 25 miles, so plan accordingly and take breaks. Once you reach Manassas, follow the signs to Manassas National Battlefield Park located at 6511 Sudley Rd.

If you're up for a long walk, start at the Bethesda Metro Station and head directly east on Wisconsin Ave until you reach Montgomery Ave. Follow Montgomery Ave into Rockville. Once you reach Rockville, continue to follow the road signs towards Manassas. This is a lengthy walk of approximately 25 miles and may take several hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.
