  • Car

    From Cunningham Falls State Park, head north on MD-77 E. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with US-15 N. Take the exit for US-15 N towards Gettysburg. After about 6 miles, take exit 19 for MD-550 toward Thurmont. Turn right onto MD-550 E and follow it for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Catoctin Furnace Rd. Catoctin Wildlife Preserve will be on your right at 13019 Catoctin Furnace Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788.

    If you are using public transportation, start from Cunningham Falls State Park and take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station, which is in Thurmont.
