From Catoctin Mountain Park, exit the park through the main entrance. Turn left onto Route 77 (Catoctin Mountain Park Road). Continue on Route 77 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 15. Merge onto Route 15 North. After about 6 miles, take the exit for Route 550 towards Thurmont. Follow Route 550, which will turn into Frederick Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, and you will find Thurmont Community Park on your left at 19 Frederick Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788.
