Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metro's Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for about 25 minutes. Disembark at the Metro Center Station and transfer to the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line towards Largo Town Center. Get off at the Smithsonian Station. After exiting the station, walk towards the National Mall and head northwest towards the Potomac River. Theodore Roosevelt Island is located across the Arlington Memorial Bridge. You can walk over the bridge and follow the signs to the island entrance.
