If you are already in Green Ridge State Forest, you will need to exit the forest via the main access road. Head southeast towards US-40 E. Once you reach US-40 E, turn left onto the highway. Continue on US-40 E for approximately 12 miles until you reach I-70. Merge onto I-70 E toward Baltimore. After about 13 miles, take exit 54 for MD-75 toward New Market. Follow MD-75 for about 4 miles, then turn left onto MD-144 E. Continue on MD-144 E for around 3 miles, then turn right onto Gambrill Park Rd. Follow Gambrill Park Rd for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Gambrill State Park, located at 8602 Gambrill Park Rd, Frederick, MD 21702.
