Walking
If you are in downtown Hagerstown, start at the intersection of W Washington St and S Potomac St. Head south on S Potomac St for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Virginia Ave. Turn left onto Virginia Ave and continue for another 0.2 miles. Historic City Park will be on your left at 501 Virginia Ave. Look for the park entrance, which is easily recognizable with its well-maintained landscaping.

Public Transport (bus)
From the Hagerstown Transit bus terminal at 100 E Franklin St, take the Route 1 bus towards Hagerstown City Park. The bus will take you directly to a stop near the park. Get off at the City Park stop, which is adjacent to the park entrance. The park will be on your right as you disembark.

Bicycling
If you're cycling, start from the downtown area. Head south on S Potomac St, which is bike-friendly. Continue for about 0.4 miles until you reach Virginia Ave. Turn left onto Virginia Ave and bike for about 0.2 miles. The entrance to Historic City Park will be on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance for you to secure your bicycle.
