    From any point within Patapsco Valley State Park, navigate to the nearest park exit. If you're at the main entrance (Patapsco Valley State Park - Avalon Area), head south on MD-99 (Baltimore National Pike) for about 2 miles. Merge onto I-95 N toward Baltimore. Continue on I-95 N for approximately 5 miles. Take exit 47B for MD-100 W toward Ellicott City. After about 4 miles, take exit 1A for MD-103 N toward Ellicott City. Continue on MD-103 N for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Court Ave. The Museum of Howard County History will be on your right at 8328 Court Ave, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Parking is available near the museum.
