If you're already within Rocky Gap State Park, the campground is easily accessible by car. Start by heading south on the main park road (Rocky Gap Road) towards the park entrance. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will see signs indicating the direction to the campground. Turn right onto Ash Loop, and continue driving straight for about half a mile. The campground entrance will be on your left.

For those who prefer biking, you can use the same route as the car. Start from the main park road and cycle south. The path is relatively flat, making it suitable for all biking skill levels. Look for the campground signs along the way, and be cautious of any vehicle traffic. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes from the park entrance.

Walking
If walking to the campground, begin at the park's visitor center. Follow Rocky Gap Road south for about 2 miles; this will take you past several beautiful landscapes. Sidewalks are available for most of the distance. After 2 miles, turn right onto Ash Loop and continue for another half mile. The campground entrance will be on your left. This walk will take around 40-50 minutes, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
