Getting There

  • Car

    From anywhere within Sandy Point State Park, exit the park through the main entrance. Turn left onto Sandy Point State Park Road, then turn right onto MD-2 South. Continue on MD-2 for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with MD-50 East. Merge onto MD-50 East towards the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Stay in the right lanes and follow the signs for the bridge. The William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial Bay Bridge will be ahead. Please note that there is a toll of $2.50 for crossing the bridge.

    Begin at Sandy Point State Park and walk to the nearest bus stop located on MD-2 South. Take the MTA Bus Route 200 (Annapolis to the Bay Bridge) that connects to the Annapolis Transit.
