If you are driving from the central area of Seneca Creek State Park, start by heading southeast on MD-355 S (Frederick Road). After about 4 miles, take a right onto Montgomery Village Avenue. Continue on Montgomery Village Avenue for approximately 2 miles, then turn left onto Greenway Trail. Great Seneca Stream Valley Park will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the park itself.

For those using public transportation, take the Ride On Bus route 55 from the nearest metro station (Shady Grove Metro Station) towards Montgomery Village. You will need to get off at the Montgomery Village Avenue & Greenway Trail stop. From there, it is a short walk to Great Seneca Stream Valley Park, which is located along Greenway Trail. Be sure to check the current bus schedule for timings and any potential costs associated with the fare, which typically ranges from $1.00 to $1.65.

If you prefer biking, you can follow the paved paths within Seneca Creek State Park towards the entrance of the park.
