From your location within Seneca Creek State Park, exit the park and head south on MD-355 (Frederick Road). Continue for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Montgomery Village Avenue. Turn right onto Montgomery Village Avenue and travel for about 1.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Greenway Trail. Follow Greenway Trail for a short distance until you see the entrance to Great Seneca Stream Valley Park on your left. There is no cost for parking at the park.

If you are starting from within Seneca Creek State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located on MD-355. Take the Ride On bus #55 towards the Lakeforest Mall. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop at Montgomery Village Avenue. From there, you can either walk about 1.5 miles to Greenway Trail or take a short taxi or rideshare service, which may incur a cost of approximately $10. Once on Greenway Trail, follow it until you reach the Great Seneca Stream Valley Park entrance.
