    If you are starting from the Boston Common, head northeast on Charles Street towards Beacon Hill. Continue on Charles Street until you reach the intersection with Beacon Street. Turn left onto Beacon Street, and then take the first right onto Bowdoin Street. The Beacon Hill Monument will be on your right, just before you reach the Massachusetts State House.
