Walking
If you are starting from the Boston Common, head northeast on Charles Street towards Beacon Hill. Continue on Charles Street until you reach the intersection with Beacon Street. Turn left onto Beacon Street, and then take the first right onto Bowdoin Street. The Beacon Hill Monument will be on your right, just before you reach the Massachusetts State House.

For those near Louisburg Square, exit the square and head south on Mount Vernon Street. Continue until you reach Beacon Street, then turn left. Walk one block and turn right onto Bowdoin Street. The Beacon Hill Monument will be on your left, adjacent to the State House.

If you are near the Park Street Station (Green Line), exit the station and walk down Park Street towards Tremont Street. Turn right on Tremont Street and head towards Beacon Street. Once at Beacon Street, turn left and then right onto Bowdoin Street. The Beacon Hill Monument will be on your right.
