If you are near the Boston Common, head east on Boylston Street towards Charles Street. After about a 10-minute walk, turn left onto Charles Street. Continue walking north until you reach Mount Vernon Street. Turn right onto Mount Vernon Street, and the Nichols House Museum will be on your left at 55 Mt Vernon Street.

If you are closer to the Charles/MGH subway station, you can take the bus number 47 or 57 from the station. Get off at the Charles Street stop. From there, walk east towards Mount Vernon Street, turn left, and you will find the Nichols House Museum at 55 Mt Vernon Street. The bus fare is $2.00.

If you are near Park Street Station, take the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Get off at Charles/MGH Station. Exit the station and walk north on Charles Street. After about 5 minutes, turn right onto Mount Vernon Street, and the museum will be at 55 Mt Vernon Street on your left. The subway fare is $2.40.
