Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Lawrence, start at the intersection of Massachusetts Street and 9th Street. Head east on 9th Street until you reach Vermont Street. Turn left (north) onto Vermont Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 11th Street. Turn right (east) on 11th Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Massachusetts Street. From there, head south on Massachusetts Street. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the Lawrence Visitor Center. Continue south until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Turn left (east) on 6th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Massachusetts Street again. Follow Massachusetts Street south until you reach the bus stop for the Lawrence Transit System, where you can take the bus to Boston, MA.

• Public Transit

  From any location in Lawrence, make your way to the nearest Lawrence Transit bus stop. You can use the Lawrence Transit app to find the closest stop. Once at the stop, board the bus heading toward the main transit hub located at 9th and New Hampshire. From the hub, take the Greyhound or Amtrak service available to Boston, MA. Make sure to check the schedule beforehand to confirm the departure times.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Lawrence. Start your ride at the intersection of Massachusetts and 9th. Head east on 9th Street, then turn left onto Vermont Street. Bike north until you reach 11th Street, then turn right. Continue east until you get to Massachusetts Street. From there, follow Massachusetts south until you reach the Lawrence Transit Center. At the Transit Center, you can catch a bus to Boston, MA.
