From Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA bus terminal located at 1-3 Main Street. Take the MBTA Bus Route 14 towards Ashmont Station. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Forest Hills Station' stop. From there, transfer to the #39 bus towards the 'Arboretum'. This bus will take you directly to the Arnold Arboretum at 125 Arborway. The total journey should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

If you prefer to walk, you can start at the Brockton MBTA train station. Walk to the nearest bus stop on the #14 bus route, which is located at 1-3 Main Street. Take the bus to Forest Hills Station. From Forest Hills, you can walk to the Arnold Arboretum, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Exit the station and head southwest on South Street. Turn left onto Arborway, and you will see the entrance to the Arboretum on your right.
