If you're driving, start by getting onto I-91 N. From there, take exit 16 towards Holyoke. Merge onto US-202 N/Massachusetts 141 W, and then turn right onto Reservation Rd. Follow Reservation Rd for about 1 mile, and the entrance to Mount Tom State Reservation will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the park.

To reach Mount Tom State Reservation via public transportation, you can take the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) bus service. Board the bus number 39 from downtown Northampton or Holyoke, which will take you to the stop near Mount Tom. After getting off, walk approximately 0.5 miles along Reservation Rd to reach the park entrance. Check the PVTA website for the latest schedules and any fares that may apply, typically around $1.50 per ride.
