Walking
From the center of Lowell, head south on Merrimack Street, towards the Tsongas Center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn right onto Dutton Street and walk straight until you reach the Gallagher Terminal. At the Gallagher Terminal, board the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) bus No. 15 to the Alewife Station. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) subway, specifically the Red Line towards Ashmont. Ride the subway for about 30 minutes until you reach Park Street Station. Once at Park Street, switch to the Green Line and take the train towards Copley. Get off at the Copley stop. From the Copley Station, walk east along Boylston Street until you reach Arlington Street, then turn right. The Ether Monument will be at the intersection of Arlington Street and Marlborough Street on your left.

Begin your journey at the Gallagher Terminal in Lowell. Take the LRTA bus No. 15 that heads towards Alewife Station. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alewife Station, switch to the MBTA subway system. Take the Red Line towards Ashmont and travel for about 30 minutes until you arrive at Park Street Station. At Park Street, change to the Green Line and board the train heading towards Copley. After a short ride, disembark at the Copley Station. Exit the station, and from there, walk east along Boylston Street until you reach Arlington Street, where you will turn right. The Ether Monument will be located at the intersection with Marlborough Street.
