    From downtown Nantucket, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head northeast on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Orange Street. Turn left onto Orange Street and continue until you reach the end. This will lead you to Wauwinet Road. Turn right onto Wauwinet Road and continue straight for approximately 3 miles. The Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge Gatehouse will be on your left, located at 107 Wauwinet Rd.

    If you prefer walking, start from the center of Nantucket at the Whaling Museum. Head east on Broad Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Orange Street. Turn left onto Orange Street and walk until it ends at Wauwinet Road. From there, turn right and continue for about 3 miles along Wauwinet Road. The Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge Gatehouse will be on your left at 107 Wauwinet Rd.
