From the New Bedford Whaling Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Union St & Purchase St' (approximately 0.2 miles). Take the 'NB Regional Transit Authority (NBTA) Route 1' bus towards the 'North End'. Stay on the bus for 5 stops until you reach 'Rockdale Ave & Buttonwood Park'. From there, Buttonwood Park will be directly in front of you.
