If you are starting from downtown New Bedford, head south on Purchase Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Union Street. Turn left onto Union Street and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. From there, you will follow the waterfront along the harbor until you reach the intersection with S Rodney French Blvd. Turn right onto S Rodney French Blvd and continue walking for about a mile. Fort Taber Park will be on your left at 1000C S Rodney French Blvd.
