From Newburyport, get on I-95 S from High St and Merrimack St. Follow I-95 S for about 12 miles. Take exit 42B for US-1 S toward Saugus. Continue on US-1 S for about 5 miles. Take the exit toward Central St. Merge onto Central St and continue for about 0.5 miles. The Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site will be on your right at 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906. There is parking available on-site.

From Newburyport, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Newburyport Station towards North Station in Boston. Get off at the Malden Station. From Malden Station, transfer to the MBTA Bus 132 towards Saugus. Get off at the stop nearest to Central St and walk approximately 10 minutes to Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site located at 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906. Be sure to check the schedules for the train and bus, as they may vary.
