Walking
From the center of Provincetown, head north on Commercial Street towards the intersection with Bradford Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Shank Painter Road. Turn left on Shank Painter Road and follow it as it curves. After approximately 1 mile, you will reach Route 6. Cross over to the other side and look for the bus stop for the Wellfleet Bus. Board the bus heading towards Wellfleet. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Wellfleet, disembark at the nearest stop and walk towards the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail entrance, which is well marked. The trail is located just off Route 6, and you will see signs guiding you to the parking area and entrance.

Biking
If you have rented a bike in Provincetown, start by biking north on Commercial Street. Continue straight until you reach Bradford Street and then turn left. Follow Bradford Street to Shank Painter Road, where you will turn left again. Continue on Shank Painter Road for about 1 mile until you reach Route 6. Carefully cross over to the other side, and turn left onto Route 6. Follow Route 6 for approximately 2 miles until you see signs for the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail. The entrance will be on your right, and you can park your bike at the designated area.

Public Transportation
From Provincetown, walk to the bus terminal located at 1 Commercial Street. Look for the bus service that operates between Provincetown and Wellfleet. Purchase a ticket to Wellfleet, and take the bus, which will take about 20-30 minutes. Upon arriving in Wellfleet, you will need to walk to the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail. Follow the signs leading you to the trailhead, which is located off Route 6. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip to ensure you have a ride back to Provincetown.
