Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Provincetown, at the intersection of Commercial Street and Lopes Square. Head east on Commercial Street toward the waterfront. Continue walking along Commercial Street for about half a mile until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and follow it as it turns into Route 6. Keep walking on Route 6, which will lead you toward the Cape Cod National Seashore. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the area where the Long Point Light Station is located. Look for signs indicating the path to the lighthouse, which is situated on Long Point. The walk may take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Provincetown. Start at the bike rental location and ride east toward Commercial Street. Follow the same route as described above: head toward the waterfront on Commercial Street, then turn left onto Bradford Street as it merges into Route 6.
