If you're starting from the center of Provincetown, head east on Commercial Street. Continue along Commercial Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Howland Street. Turn left onto Howland Street. After a short walk, you will come to the end of Howland Street, where you'll find a small beach access point. From here, you can follow the sandy path leading to the Wood End Lighthouse. The path offers beautiful views of the coastline, and you'll be able to spot the lighthouse in the distance. The walk from Commercial Street to the lighthouse should take you approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you have access to a bike, you can make your way to the Wood End Lighthouse more quickly. Start at the center of Provincetown and bike along Commercial Street heading east. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Howland Street. Continue biking until you reach the beach access point at the end of Howland Street. Park your bike here, and then follow the sandy path to the lighthouse. The biking portion will take around 10-15 minutes, and the short walk to the lighthouse will take an additional 5 minutes.
