Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Quincy Center, head southwest on Hancock Street towards the intersection with Washington Street. Continue onto Washington Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Quincy Adams subway station. Take the Red Line train inbound towards Alewife. Stay on the train for about 20 minutes, passing through several stops including Braintree, Weymouth, and Ashmont. Alight at the Downtown Crossing station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Tremont Street. Turn left onto Tremont Street, and after a few minutes of walking, you will find the Tremont Temple Baptist Church at 88 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02108.

• Public Transit (Bus and Subway)

  From the Quincy Center, walk to the Quincy Center bus terminal located adjacent to the subway station. Board the 220 bus towards the Braintree station. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the Braintree subway station. From Braintree, take the Red Line subway train towards Alewife. Ride the train for approximately 20 minutes and alight at the Downtown Crossing station. From the station, head north on Washington Street, turn left onto Tremont Street, and walk for a few minutes until you reach Tremont Temple Baptist Church at 88 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02108.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Quincy. Start from Quincy Center and ride west on Hancock Street, then follow it until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Continue on Washington Street, which will lead you to the Dedham Avenue bike path. Follow the path towards the Boston area. Eventually, make your way to the South End and onto Tremont Street.
